Helen M. Carr, 91, of
Mendota died Jan. 11, 2015,
in Heritage Health, Mendota.
Funeral services will be
at 11 a.m. Monday in St.
John's Lutheran Church,
Mendota, with the Rev. Phil
Blom officiating. Burial will
be at Restland Cemetery,
Mendota.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m.
Sunday in Merritt Funeral
Home, Mendota.
She was born Dec. 20,
1923, in Mendota to Anton
and Amelia (Voegel) Piller.
She married Kenneth Carr
on March 25, 1943, in Mendota.
She was a member of St.
John's Lutheran Church.
She is survived by one
daughter, Carolyn (John)
Hartt of Mendota; two sons,
Roger (Joanne) Carr of Triumph
and Ronald (Marsha)
Carr of Newberg, Ore.; 10
grandchildren; 20 greatgrandchildren;
several greatgreat-
grandchildren; two
stepbrothers, Carl Kerchner
and Wilbert (Carol) Kerchner,
both of Mendota; and
one stepsister; Ruth Molln
of Ohio, Ill.
She was preceded in
death by her husband on
Nov. 1, 1996; nine brothers,
one sister, three stepbrothers
and two stepsisters.
Memorials may be
directed to St. John's Lutheran
Church in Mendota
or to the donor's choice.
