Obituary
Helen E. Clark, 93, of Sublette, passed away February 2, 2022 at Franklin Grove Living and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota with Chaplain Kent Terry officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be Thursday, from 5-7 p.m. in the funeral home and one hour prior to services Friday.
Helen was born December 8, 1928 in Atkinson to Fredrick and Maude (Boothe) Clark. She married Archie Clark, Jr. on December 15, 1946 in Ohio, Il. He preceded her on March 28, 1999.
Helen graduated from Ohio High School. She worked and retired from Farmers State Bank in Sublette. She was a lifetime member of Green River Saddle Club and a member of Sublette Union Church and Sublette Fire Department Fire Bells.
She is survived by her son John (Cherry) Clark of Nashville, IN; daughters Connie Hobbs of Amboy, Shirley (David) Maki of Lancaster, NY., and Debra (Ken) Mann of Mendota; 12 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brother Robert Clark, sister Katherine Anderson, grandson Nicholas Clark and son in law Douglas Hobbs.
