Helen M. Druen, 87, of
Mendota died Dec. 19,
2012, in Stonecroft Village,
Mendota.
Services will be at 11
a.m. Friday in First United
Methodist Church, Mendota,
with the Rev. Michael Morrell
officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Merritt Funeral Home,
Mendota provided the
arrangements.
She was born May 28, 1925,
in Paw Paw to Richard and
Hazel (Haefner) Mead. She
married Wm. Larry Druen on
Nov. 7, 1943.
She was a member of First
United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Druen was a driver for
Meals on Wheels and volunteered
at Mendota Community
Hospital gift shop. She enjoyed
bowling, golf and playing
bridge.
She is survived by one daughter,
Angela Felt of Kewanee;
four grandsons, Jay Scott Felt,
Michael H. Felt, Aaron T. Felt
and Michael Ocean Druen;
seven great-grandchildren; and
six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death
by her husband in 1986; one
son, Gary Druen; one brother
and one sister.
