Helen E. Rapp, 87, of Mendota died March 17, 2012, in Heritage Health Care, Mendota. Private services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota, with the Rev. William Ultch officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. There will be no visitation. She was born Feb. 8, 1925, in Arlington to Arthur and Louise (Kessel) Brown. She married Lawrence Rapp on Oct. 6, 1945, in Cherry. She was a graduate of LaMoille High School. She is survived by one son, Charles (Judy) Rapp of Mendota; one daughter, Joanne (Tim) Spencer of Rochester, Minn.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on July 26, 2010, two brothers and one sister. Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
