A Mass of Christian burial
will be at 11 a.m. Monday
in Holy Cross Church, Mendota,
with the Rev. Tom
Otto officiating. Burial will
be at Holy Cross Cemetery,
Mendota.
Visitation will be 9:30-
10:30 a.m. Monday in the
church. Funeral arrangements
were provided by
Merritt Funeral Home,
Mendota.
She was born Feb. 18,
1919, in Mendota to Henry
W. and Sadie (Arndt)
Bieser. She married Clinton
Sondgeroth on Sept.
21, 1944, in Holy Cross
Church.
She was a member of
Holy Cross Church and
graduated from Mendota
High School.
She is survived by three
daughters, Yvonne (Bill)
Biers of Mendota, Lori
Losey of Mendota and
Deanna (Allen) Baker of
Algonquin; four grandchildren,
Cory (Becky) Biers,
Kevin (Stacie) Biers, Jennifer
(Rob) Stephenson and
Brad (Jennifer) Baker; nine
great-grandchildren, McKennon,
Mikan, Mari, Kate,
and Kendall Biers, Rian
and Jack Baker and Anne
and Sarah Stephenson; and
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in
death by her husband on
April 30, 2013; one daughter,
Gayle, six brothers and
four sisters.
