Heriberto Orozco, 62, of LaMoille passed away September 14, 2017 in OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., in Holy Cross Church, Mendota with Rev. Peter Pilon officiating. Burial will be in Manlius Cemetery, Manlius. Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 p.m., in the Merritt Funeral Home with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary.

Heriberto was born June 22, 1955 in Santa Lucia Jalisco, Mexico to Maximiliano and Rita (Nunez) Orozco. He married Kristine Crawford July 5, 1980 in LaMoille.

Heriberto worked for HCC as a machine operator for 40 years. He enjoyed cooking and gardening. He was an avid deer hunter and looked forward to bow and arrow and shotgun season and getting the big buck. His greatest joy in life was his family.

He is survived by his wife Kristine of LaMoille; daughter Patty (Danny) Blackburn of LaMoille; son Thomas Orozco of LaMoille; three brother Salvador of Mendota and Hugo and Refujio of Mexico; four sisters Carmerina of LaSalle, Sylvia and Ovelia of Mendota and Graciela of Mexico; and grandson Matteo Blackburn.

He was preceded in death by his sister Primitiva.
