Obituary
Howard L. Demoret, 94, of Mendota passed away February 7, 2023 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Ottawa.
Howard was born March 17, 1928 in Dodge City, Kansas to Lester and Vera (Wright) Demoret. He married Donna Taylor on May 7, 1948 in Dodge City.
Howard worked for Mayrath in Dodge City and then Compton which brought him to Illinois. His hobby was HAM radio.
Howard is survived by his wife Donna of Mendota; his son in law Russell Volkert; three grandchildren Tim (Penny) Volkert, Kelly Gomez and Kimberly (Dan) Truckenbrod and 6 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jim, his daughter Sherry Volkert and his great granddaughter Lauren Volkert.
There will be no local services. Private graveside services will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City.
