Obituary
Irma J. Joerger, 91, of Spring Valley and formerly of Mendota passed away June 4, 2022 at Aperion Care, Spring Valley.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday June 18, 2022 at Holy Cross Church, Mendota with Father Peter Pilon officiating. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. on June 18, 2022 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota
Irma was born September 2, 1930 in Nashua, Iowa to George and Iris (Osbern) Winter. She married Rufus J. Joerger, Jr. on May 20, 1950 at Holy Cross Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Eich of Spring Valley and Cindy (Bill) Engels of Arizona; two sons Rick Joerger of Wisconsin and Dick (Laurie) Joerger of LaMoille; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 2018 and one granddaughter in 2010.
Memorials may be directed to Holy Cross Church.
Pallbearers will be Jason Engels, Jennifer Jones, Christopher Eich, Joshua Joerger, Zachary Joerger, Joseph Eich and Monica Joerger.
