Jacob Krisch, 28, of Mendota, passed away unexpectedly on July 10, 2023.

He was born July 3, 1995, in Dekalb, Illinois, the son of James Krisch Jr and Lisa Krisch.

Memorial visitation will be Monday July 17, 2023, from 4-7 PM at Merritt Funeral Home in Mendota. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday July 18, 2023, at 10:30 AM at Holy Cross Church Mendota. The Rev Peter Pilon will officiate. Private burial for family and close friends will be in Holy Cross Cemetery Mendota. There will be a memorial service at the Mendota Moose Lodge on Tuesday July 18, 2023, from 12:00-4:00 PM.

Jacob was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fishing and boating. He loved to spend time with his family and friends and to ride his motorcycle. Jacob was a loyal employee of James Hardie Building Products Inc. The family would like to thank them for their generous contribution.

Jacob was preceded in death by his mother Lisa A. Krisch.

Surviving in addition to his father James Krisch, Jr. are his children Mason Krisch of Sublette, IL., Ellie and Jackson Krisch of Triumph, IL and his brothers Matthew Krisch and Ryan Krisch of Mendota along with nieces and nephews.
