James T. Bragg, 66, of Mendota died Aug. 7, 2011, in his home following a battle with lung cancer. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. The Rev. Michael Morrell will officiate. Burial will be at Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Mr. Bragg was born March 15, 1945, in Glasgow, Ky., to Ed and Rose (Wheeler) Bragg. He married Ada Reutner on June 12, 1982, in Mendota. He worked for Illinois Underground Inc. in Wenona as a construction worker before retiring. Survivors are his wife; one daughter, Kimberly Bragg of Mendota; two sons, Paul (Deb) Bragg of Sublette and Johnny Bragg of Kentucky; four grandchildren; and one sister, Frances Colt of Franklin, Ky. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Lloyd Bragg. Memorials may be directed to the family.
