James B. Jordal,
66, of Sandwich and
formerly of Mendota died
Aug. 12, 2012, in Valley West
Hospital, Sandwich.
Services will be at 11 a.m.
Thursday in Merritt Funeral
Home, Mendota, with the
Rev. Michael Morrell officiating.
Burial will be at Abraham
Lincoln National Cemetery,
Elwood.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m.
Wednesday in the funeral
home.
Mr. Jordal was born Nov.
28, 1945, in Atascadero,
Calif., to Oden B. and Arlene
(Storey) Jordal.
He graduated from
Mendota High School in 1963
and Western Illinois
University. He later graduated
from Milwaukee School of
Engineering and was
employed by HK Systems
Inc. in Milwaukee as a
mechanical engineer.
He served with the U.S.
Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by two sons,
Jamie (Joella) Jordal of
Sandwich and Justin Jordal of
Chicago; two grandchildren;
one brother, John (Joan) Jordal
of Plainfield; and one sister,
Janet (Ken) Dolbow of
Arlington, Texas.
He was preceded in death by
his parents.
