Janet M. Blair, 72 of Mendota passed away January 24, 2019 in her home.

Memorial services will be Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota with Rev. Susan Presley officiating. Burial will be at Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington at a later date. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.

Janet was born January 23, 1947 in Bloomington to Edgar and Lois (Bayless) Olson.

Janet graduated from Oak Lawn High School. After moving to Mendota she worked at the Mendota Lutheran Home for 32 years where she took much pride in her position as a CNA and in taking care of others. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Mendota. She will be dearly missed and will always be remembered for her endless love and generosity for her family and pets. She always had compassion and a kind word any and all that crossed her path and made one's day better by spreading her joy.

Survivors include her two daughters Kimberly Blair and Laura (Tom) Glazebrook both of Mendota; three grandchildren Chelsea Glazebrook Montavon, Gage Glazebrook and Gavin Glazebrook all of Mendota; and a brother Tom (Nancy Marie) Olson of Arizona.

She was preceded by her parents and one sister Gloria Olson.
