Janet L. (Gordon) Kaiser,
61, of Mendota passed away
May 25, 2013, in St. Francis
Hospital, Peoria, after a long
battle with cancer.
Private graveside services
will be at Restland Cemetery,
Mendota, on Saturday with
the Rev. Dale Peterson officiating.
Visitation will be 10
a.m.-noon Saturday in Merritt
Funeral Home, Mendota.
She was born Sept. 13,
1951, in Mendota to Leslie
and Doris (Catterton) Gordon.
She worked at Heritage Health
in Mendota for 16 years and
was a member of St. John's
Lutheran Church, Mendota.
She is survived by
two daughters, Samantha
Schumacher of Mendota and
Stephanie (Adam Weeks)
Schumacher of East Peoria;
granddaughter Cameron
Schumacher of Mendota;
four brothers, Butch (Sandy)
Gordon of Mendota, Charlie
Gordon of Mendota, Steven
Gordon of Plainfield, and
Jimmy (Jeanne) Gordon of
Holy Cross, Iowa; three sisters,
Sheila (Gary) Duttlinger
of Mendota, Collen Borman
of Mendota and Carol Politsch
of Oregon, Ill.; and her cat
Tinkerbell.
She was preceded in death
by her parents; three sisters,
Linda Politsch, Paula Gordon
and Barbara Brookman; one
brother, John Gordon in
infancy; one nephew, Patrick
Carlson and one niece, Rachel
Abrams.
