Janice M. Torman, 79, of Mendota, formerly of Paw Paw, died Feb. 9, 2009, in her home in Mendota. Services are at 11 a.m. Friday in First Presbyterian Church of Paw Paw with the Rev. Anne Hoflen officiating. Burial will be at Wyoming Township Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Thursday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. Arrangements were provided by Torman Funeral Home, Paw Paw, and Merritt Funeral Home. She was born Nov. 29, 1929, in Sandwich to Charles Harry and Alta (Anderson) Keenan. She married Robert Torman on Aug. 1, 1948. She was a member of Mendota Elks Club and of the Women's Club Bridge Marathon. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara (Wesley) Terry of Union; two sons, Charles (Chris) Torman of Farmington, Minn., and Scott (Patty) Torman of Paw Paw; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
