Jean Musser, 80, of Mendota died March 30, 2008, in Mendota Community Hospital. Private graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. The Rev. Dale Dykstra will officiate. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are through Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. Mrs. Musser was born Sept. 30, 1927, in Mendota to Barclay and Elsie (McCullough) Wallace. She married Alvin Meyer on June 25, 1950. He died in 1958. She then married Ralph Musser on Aug. 1, 1964. He died Feb. 13, 1997. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Mendota. Survivors include three daughters, Patricia (Paul) Truckenbrod Jr. of Mendota, Colleen (Lyle) Pendarvis of Ohio and Bonnie (Dennis) Corrigan of East Peoria; one son, Jerry (Lisa) Musser of Wenona; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by both her husbands. Memorials may be directed to Illinois Valley Animal Rescue.
