Jeffrey Alan Lemmer, born April 17, 1961 in Mendota, IL, USA, passed away at the age of 63 on August 15, 2024. Jeffrey, a lifelong resident of Sublette, Illinois, was a retired Fork Lift Operator with a quick sense of humor. His hobbies included music, motorcycles, collecting antiques, restoration and renovation.

Jeffrey is survived by his loving family. He leaves behind his daughters, Megan (Aaron) Smith of Lake Bluff, IL, and Morgan (Christine) Lemmer-Webber of East Hampton, MA, and his son Joshua (Rickee) Lemmer of Sublette, IL. He was also a proud grandfather to Arie, Jenisis, Ethan, Jersi, Landen, and Wyatt and great grandfather to Kane, Abel, and Berkeley. Jeff is also survived by his siblings; Karen Lemmer of Sublette, IL, Gary (Debbie) Lemmer of Mendota, Il, Robert (Amanda) Lemmer of Amboy, Il, and Brenda Lemmer of Sublette, IL. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Dorothy Lemmer.

A public visitation will be held for Jeffrey on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 2:00 - 5:00pm CDT at Merritt Funeral Home, located at 800 Monroe Street, Mendota, Illinois, 61342. The funeral service will take place the following day, Monday, August 26, 2024, at 11:00am CDT, also at Merritt Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Union Cemetery in LaMoille, IL.
