Jessie Ann Reutner, 81, of Mendota, passed away Friday, June 16, 2023 at Prairie Crossing Living and Rehabilitation, Shabbona.

Visitation will be Friday, June 23, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. A service will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Mary Bohall officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded and private burial will be at a later date.

Jessie was born June 13, 1942 in LaSalle to George and Ada (Stegen) Reutner.

Jessie was a graduate of LaSalle-Peru High School. She worked at Westclox until it closed and she also worked at Western Electric. Jessie loved crafts and babysitting.

She is survived by her four sisters Katherine Danekas of LaSalle and Georgia Reutner, Elizabeth Reutner and Ada Bragg all of Mendota; five brothers George Reutner of LaSalle, Fred Reutner, Jim Reutner and Chris Reutner all of Mendota and Robert (Robin) Reutner of Chetek, Wisconsin and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers John Reutner and David Reutner.
