Jill A. Becker, 64, of Mendota passed away March 20, 2017, in Heritage Health, Mendota.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Merritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Phyllis Reed officiating. Burial will be at Troy Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Jill was born July 5, 1952, in Mendota to John and Thelma (Watson) Hutchinson. She married Robert J. Becker Jr. on Feb. 21, 1992, in Ottawa.

Jill loved to travel and worked at the family-owned Rainbow Travel in Mendota. She had been a flight attendant for American Trans Air. Most recently she served as a travel coordinator for First State Bank's Mendota Vista Club. She also did bookkeeping for Mendota Township for more than 35 years.

She is survived by her son, Jared Kern of Mendota; two daughters, Jennifer (Chris) Eller of Mendota and Jami (Joseph) LaJoy of Fox Lake; four grandchildren, Evelyn Kern, Haleigh, Brandton and Caden Eller; her mother, Thelma Hutchinson of Mendota; one brother, Jeffrey (Frank Zito) Hutchinson of Los Angeles, Calif.; one sister, Sara (Randy) Torman of Mendota; nieces and nephews; and her significant other, Thomas Truckenbrod of Mendota.

She was preceded in death by her father and husband.

Memorials may be directed to the National Park Foundation or the donor's choice.
