81, of Creve Coeur, Mo., and
formerly of Mendota died Jan.
11, 2013, in Creve Coeur, Mo.
A Mass of Christian burial
will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday
in Holy Cross Church, Mendota
with the Revs. Fredi Gomez
Torres and John J. O'Brien officiating.
Burial will be at Holy
Cross Cemetery, Mendota.
Visitation is 4 - 7 p.m.
Tuesday at Merritt Funeral
Home, Mendota.
She was born June 29, 1931,
in Chicago to Elmer and Lillian
O'Malley. She attended

Winona,
Minn. and
L o y o l a
University
in Chicago.
She was
the school
secretary at
Holy Cross
S c h o o l ,
Mendota 1978-1996. She
retired to Cherokee Village,
Ark. where she volunteered
as school secretary for Lumen
Christi Academy for several
years.
She married John V. O'Brien
Jr. on June 9, 1951 in Park
Ridge; he died Oct. 10, 1978.
She married Joseph Warn in
1998; he died in 2002.
She is survived by four sons,
John (Renee) O'Brien of Creve
Coeur, Mo., Michael (Angie)
O'Brien of Freeport, Patrick
(Susan) O'Brien of Weldon
Spring, Mo., and Larry (Renae)
O'Brien of Adel, Iowa; one
daughter, Jean O'Brien of
Creve Coeur, Mo.; 17 grandchildren;
four great-grandchildren;
three brothers, James and
Patrick (Sandra) O'Malley,
both of Whispering Pines,
N.C., and Edward (Noreen)
O'Malley of Ocala, Fla.; and
one sister, Kathryn O'Malley of
Tehachapi, Calif.
In addition to her husbands,
she was preceded in death by
a daughter, Rose Marie Fox,
in 2005.
