Joann M. Rebholz, 57, of Mendota died July 13, 2016, in Proctor Hospital, Peoria.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Immanuel Lutheran Church of Compton with the Rev. Jeff Schlesinger officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota.
Joann was born April 10, 1959, in Spring Valley to Emmett and Hilda (Becker) Walzer. She married Ron Rebholz on July 14, 1979, in Holy Cross Church, Mendota.
She was a 1977 graduate of Mendota High School. She was active with Mendota Area Senior Services serving as the senior center coordinator and was responsible for the start of the Wii Bowling program and tournaments.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and sister who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Ron of Mendota; two daughters, Jill Rebholz and Lori Rebholz, both of St. Louis; two brothers, James (Cindy) Walzer of Rockford and Jerome Walzer of Sterling; four sisters, Judy Mumbower of Peru, Jeanne (Karl) Zimmerman of Sandwich, Joyce Cramer of Austin, Texas, and Janet (Mark) Mellott of Buchanan, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
