JoAnne Jacobs Eichorn, 80, of Mendota went  home to be with Jesus on Friday, August 10, 2018

Funeral services will be 11;00 a.m. Monday in Victory Baptist Church, Mendota with Rev.Steve Breedlove officiating.. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m., until time of services on Monday in the church. Burial will be  in Wyoming Cemetery, Paw Paw. The Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota  is handling the arrangements,

JoAnne was born April 23, 1938 in Paw Paw to Jake and Hazel (Rush) Jacobs.

JoAnne was a member of Victory Baptist Church and enjoyed helping with activities for Vacation Bible School. In previous years, she had assisted with Sunday School and had been the Sunday School Superintendent. She worked at Heritage Manor Nursing Home until her retirement in June of 2000.

She is survived her 3 loving daughters, Cindy Kay (Rodrigo) Gomez of Mendota, Kathy Jo (Kim) Humphrey of Quincy, and Brenda Lee (Ben) Eyster of Morton; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; one sister, Lois "Tootsie" Ridge of Mendota; one sister-in-law, Wilma Jacobs of Mendota and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her parents, 7 sisters and 3 brothers.
