John L. Moran, 60, of Mendota died Jan. 28, 2010, in Mendota Community Hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota, with the Rev. Gary Blake officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. There will be no visitation. Mr. Moran was born Jan. 12, 1950, in Chicago to John L. and Alta F. (Whitaker) Moran. He was a graduate of Forest View High School, Elk Grove Village. He is survived by one brother, Patrick (Malli) Moran of Vacaville, Calif.; one nephew; one aunt; several cousins; and his companion, Mary Boustead of Mendota. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
