John Raymond Reeder, born on September 29, 1953, in Mendota, IL, USA, passed away on December 12, 2024 also in Mendota. John spent his life in his birthplace, Mendota, a town that he held dear to his heart. He was a dedicated truck driver by profession, a testament to his love for the open road and transportation industry. His legacy continues in the hearts of those who knew him, especially his surviving family:  brother, James (Jeanette) Reeder of Princeton, IL; 2 sisters: Judy (William) Schmidt and Jackie Reeder both of Mendota; 9 neices and nephews: Kelly (Jan) Richardson, Amy (Rusty) Lindenmeir, Scott Novak, Matt (Beth) Novak, Jennifer Hochstatter, John Hochstatter, Whitney Reeder, Cameron (Reid) Barker and Joshua Reeder. John was predeceased by his parents, John and Florence (Kelly) Reeder and one nephew, Chris Reeder. It was Johns wishes to have no funeral services.  Cremation care was provided by Horner-Merritt Funeral Home of Mendota, IL.
