Obituary
Joshua A. Wear, 43, of Mendota died October 4, 2018.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., in the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota with Rev. Jerry Graham officiating. Burial will be private at a later date. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-6:30 p.m. in the Merritt Funeral Home.
Josh was born July 11, 1975 to Rose Janssen and raised by his mother and Ramon Torres, Sr.
He worked as a painter, drywaller and roofer. He liked working on cars, fishing, cooking and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his mother Rose Janssen of Mendota; brother Ramon (Casey) Torres; two sisters Delia Bryson and Genia Nickle; his fiance Rebecca Erickson; his children Alicia Wear, Cyrus Mares, Zacheriah Avila, Jr. and Destanie Avila; Patrick Harris and Ysabelle Wear and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Ramon Torres, Sr., his paternal and maternal grandparents, his uncles Larry Janssen and Mike Wear and his aunt Barbara Wear.
