Joyce K. Easter, 87, of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., formerly of Mendota, died
Sept. 29, 2013, in San Dimas, Calif.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Restland Cemetery, Mendota
with the Rev. Dale Peterson officiating.
There will be no visitation. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota provided the
arrangements.
She was born May 17, 1926, in Mendota to John C. and Lydia (Mittelstadt)
Kehm. She married Edward Vogler Easter in 1946.
Joyce loved her family and friends,
traveled the world, actively fundraised
for children's hospital care, displayed
an amazing tenacity and achieved a
world class education.
She is survived by one daughter,
Pamela S. Easter of Rancho
Cucamonga; one grandson, Ryan
Edward Miller; one niece, Nancy
G. Lyon; and one nephew, Doug
Gallagher.
She was preceded in death by her
husband in December 2007; an infant
daughter, Barbara Ann; and one sister,
Eunice Gallagher.
