was born
Sept. 1,
1941, in
Sterling to Gene and Alice
(Asay) Concutelli. She married
August Holland on
June 20, 1964, in Rock
Falls. He passed away on
Aug. 28, 1998. She married
Richard Lindell on Oct. 23,
2009.
She graduated from Newman
High School, Sterling
in 1959 and Northern Illinois
University, DeKalb in
1963. She taught at Lincoln
School in Sterling, Blackstone
School in Mendota
and for 33 years at Holy
Cross School in Mendota.
She was a past volunteer at
Lighted Way, La Salle,
member of Holy Cross
Church and Cursillista since
2011.
She is survived by her
husband Richard of Mendota;
son Gus (Cathy) Holland
of Wheaton; daughter
Lisa Holland of Sterling; sister
Louise (Les) Arvola of
Sterling; three grandchildren,
Elle, Peri and Aaron;
and nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in
death by her parents and
son, Jeffrey in 2006.
