Judy K. Stremlau, 69, of Mendota died July 18, 2017 in OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday in the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota with Deacon Ray Fischer officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home.

Judy was born October 28, 1947 in Mendota to Kenneth and Imogene (Chapman) Reger. She married David Stremlau on August 7, 2000 in Ottawa.

She was a 1966 graduate of Mendota High School. She was employed by Wayside Press, Mendota, Horizon House and for many years she did home care.

She is survived by  her husband, David of Mendota; one daughter, Melissa (Greg Chinn) Bumgarner of Delphi, IN; 3 grandchildren, Nicholas, Cari, and Mackenzie; 3 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jerry (Jean) Reger,of Peru, Kenneth (Janet) Reger and Ronald (Sandy) Reger both of Mendota.

She was preceded by her parents and a infant daughter, Brenda.
