Kaine Michael James Pizano-Olson born on August 25, 2000 to Tricia Beth Baker of Ladd and Michael Joseph (Heather) Pizano-Olson of Mendota, passed on January 20, 2021 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Services will be at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. The visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. with services starting at 5:00 p.m., following CDC guidelines. Reception for family and friends following the service will be at the Mendota Elks Lodge.

Kaine is survived by his parents and his siblings Patience Stallings, Macy Pizano-Olson, Serjio Orozco, and Isabella Orozco. Also, survived by his maternal grandparents Tom and Pat Olsen of Mendota; his paternal grandparents Kim Olson of Spring Valley and Donna Olson of Ladd, Dave and Sue Pizano of Depue, Jim and Tammy Wormack of Bee Branch, Arkansas, Bob Thomas of Mendota and Steve and Kathy Reppin  of Mendota. Kaine is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly.

Kaine was a 2018 graduate of Mendota High School. Kaine enjoyed playing sports, he loved basketball and showed his passion for the game on the court for MHS and the Illinois Ambush Travel League. He loved music and went to every concert he could. Anyone who knew Kaine remembers his infectious smile and his love for his dog Trey.

Kaine was employed at Promier Products in Peru. During the summers, Kaine also worked for his grandfather and with his uncles at Olsen Construction in Mendota.

Kaine was preceded in death by his maternal great grandmother Donna Bugiyne. He was also preceded in death by his lifelong friends Ben Bokus and Taryn Pakenham.
