Kathaleen Hall, 83, of Mendota died peacefully on June 23, 2014 at Mendota Community Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 30 at First Presbyterian Church, Mendota with Rev. Dale Dykstra officiating. Interment of ashes will be at Restland Cemetery. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota is handling the funeral arrangements. Kathaleen was born Oct. 29, 1930 in Fort Wayne, Ind. to Clarence and Anna (Dunham) Keener. She married Glenn Hall, Sr. on Sept. 27, 1952. He preceded her in death on Aug. 10, 2010. Survivors include four children, Glenn (Teresa) Hall, Jr. of Mendota, Jeffrey (Betty) Hall of Wheeling, Susan (Stephen) Spathelf of Naperville and Shirley (Mark) Caruso of Chicago; nine grandchildren, Jonatthan Spathelf, Jennifer Wolf, Robert and Sarah Lopez, Walter, Anna, Bonnie, Kyle and Justin Hall; one great-granddaughter, Taylor Marie; one brother, Lyndall (Phyllis) Keener of Coldwater, Mich.; and three sisters, JoAnn (Robert) Klotz, Sr. of Fort Wayne, Ind., Bonnie Jeremy of Oakdale, Calif. and Jodie Abbott of Sun City, Calif. She was preceded by her husband; three sisters, Marge, Eloise and Ruby; and four brothers, Paul, Jack, Wellman and Leland. Kathaleen attended First Presbyterian Church, Mendota. Memorials may be directed to Illinois Valley Hospice or Mendota Area Senior Services.
