Kearney G. Merrill, 54, of 100 First Ave., Mendota died July 11, 2007, in Mendota Community Hospital. A private graveside service will be at a later date at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. There will be no visitation. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota, provided the arrangements. Mr. Merrill was born Feb. 5, 1953, in Sycamore to Sebastion and Sammar (Kitchey) Merrill. He was a member of Modern Woodmen of America. He is survived by a brother, Earnest (Kim) Winfree of Mendota and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather and brother.
