Keith H. Eich, 85 of Mendota passed away August 31, 2019 at Heritage Health, Mendota.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Merritt Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Schlesinger officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery with military honors by Mendota VFW Post 4079. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.

Keith was born December 18, 1933 in Paw Paw to Raymond and Katherine (Yost) Eich. He married Betty Walters January 27, 1963.

Keith was a graduate of Paw Paw High School. He served in the United States Army in Germany. He farmed with his father and brother for many years. He also worked at Del Monte Farm Shop and AgView FS. Keith was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Compton, Mendota Moose Club and was a 50 year member of Mendota Elks Lodge.

He is survived by his two daughters Lori (Mike) Turk of Mahomet and Kelly (Steve) Daw of Mendota; son Kevin (Tina) Eich of Ottawa; 10 grandchildren Cameron Eich, Trent Stokes, Caleb Eich, Hannah Turk, Zach Johnson, Dane Eich, Sam Turk, Payton Turk, Tanlee Eich and Madison Schmitt; and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife in 2006 and a brother Dean Eich.
