Kenneth Allen McClard,
49, of Mendota died Sept. 7,
2014, in his home.
Funeral services will be
at 5 p.m. Friday in Merritt
Funeral Home, Mendota.
Burial will be at a later date
after cremation rites have
been accorded.
Visitation will be one
hour prior to the funeral
Friday at the funeral home.
Kenneth was born Oct.
12, 1964, in San Diego,
Calif., to Edward and Sheila
(Stewart) McClard. He entered
into a civil union with
Gregory Alan Stayton on
Feb. 14, 2012, in Ottawa.
He worked at Del Monte
Foods and Henkel Seed
and was a laborer repairing
homes.
He is survived by his partner
Gregory of Mendota; his
mother Sheila (Mike) Duncan
of Rock Falls; daughter
Gina Stayton of La Salle;
grandsons Quinnel and Demarius
of La Salle; siblings
Eddie (Sharon) McClard of
Ganesville, Mo., Charlene
(Tom) Sailor of Hoxie, Ark.,
Carol Stevens of Amboy,
Cindy Hill of Hoxie, Ark.,
and J.C. (Denik) Wilson
of Harmon; and multiple
nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death
by his father, brother Sam
McClard, and two step children,
Andrew Stayton and
June Stayton.
