of Mendota died June 29,
2014, in Mendota Lutheran
Home.
Funeral services will be at
1 p.m. Wednesday in Merritt
Funeral Home, Mendota. The
Rev. Michael Morrell will
officiate.
Burial will
take place at
Prairie Repose
Cemetery ,
Amboy.
Visitation
will be 11
a.m.-1 p.m.
Wednesday
in the funeral
home.
Mrs. Bettner was born
June 11, 1930, to Leonard
and Agnes (Hobbs) Berogan.
She married Robert Bettner
on Dec. 30, 1950.
She was a member of First
United Methodist Church,
Mendota. She was a graduate
of Amboy High School.
Survivors include one
son, Jeffrey (Sheila) Bettner
of Mendota; one daughter,
Rhonda (James) Gross of
Mendota; four grandchildren;
10 great-grandchildren; and
1 great-great-grandson; and
one sister, Dorothy Horner of
Amboy.
She was preceded in death
by her husband on Jan. 28,
1985, one granddaughter, and
two brothers. Memorials may be directed to the family or donor's choice.
