Laura H. Crowe, 84, of Mendota died May 2, 2012, in Heritage Health, Mendota. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Holy Cross Church, Mendota with the Rev. Gary Blake officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Arlington. Visitation is 9:30-10:15 a.m. Saturday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. Mrs. Crowe was born Feb. 15, 1928, in Aurora to Sherman and Vera (Eddy) Leisure. She married Albert Crowe on May 11, 1949, in Fort Townsend, Wash. She was a graduate of LaMoille High School She was employed by Conco Inc. in Mendota for 39 years in the quality control department. She was a member of Holy Cross Church and active in Elks Lodge bowling leagues. She is survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 4, 1999; three sisters and one brother. Memorials may be directed to Heritage Health activity fund.
