Laura Johnson, 91, of Mendota died March 9, 2011, in Mendota Lutheran Home. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. There will be no visitation. Merritt Funeral Home provided the arrangements. She was born April 19, 1919, in Sublette to Isaac and Nettie (Clink) Musser. She married Robert Ross Sr. who died in 1962. She later marriedWillard Johnson who died in 1995. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Mendota. She moved to Mendota in 1995 from Cortland. She is survived by one grandson, Shawn Ross; one stepdaughter, Brenda Shodstrom of Iowa City, Iowa; two sisters, Mabel (Clifford) Geuther of Mendota and Ila Blevins of Mendota; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by one son, Robert Ross Jr.; one daughter, Sharon Fox; two sisters and five brothers. Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
