Obituary
Laura L. Ruppert, 82, of Mendota died
Oct. 9, 2012, in Mendota Community
Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday
in St. John's Lutheran Church, Mendota,
with the Rev. Dale Peterson officiating.
Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory
Gardens, La Salle.
Visitation is 2-5 p.m. Sunday at
Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota.
She was born Feb. 3, 1930, in Ottawa
to George and Mabel (Wallace) Scott,
She married Donald L. Ruppert on Feb.
14, 1954.
She attended Ottawa High School
and was employed by Wal-Mart in Peru
before retirement. She was a member of
St. John's Lutheran Church.
She is survived by one son, Donald
(Karen) Ruppert of Mendota; and three
grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her
husband in May 1997; one daughter,
Doreen; one brother and one sister.
Memorials may be directed to the
donor's choice.
