Lillian P. Pakenham, 89, of Mendota, died October 26, 2016 in OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 10:00a.m., in Holy Cross Church with Rev. Joel Phelps officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mendota. There will be no visitation. Merritt Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Lillian was born August 14, 1927 in LaSalle to Joseph and Mary (Schimatz) Krizel. She married Daniel Pakenham January 16, 1948 in LaSalle.

Lillian was a member of Holy Cross Church, she helped her husband with farming and had worked at Westclox before marrying.

She is survived by three sons, Tim Pakenham of Mendota, John (Bonnie) Pakenham of Mendota, Edward "Punk" (Susan) Pakenham of Triumph; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.

She was preceded by her husband in 1997, two sons Danny and Joseph, a sister and a brother.
