Lois I. Setchell, 84, of Mendota died June 16, 2010, in Mendota Lutheran Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in First United Methodist Church, Mendota, with the Rev. Michael Morrell officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Sunday in Merritt Funeral Home. She was born March 22, 1926, in Troy Grove to Oscar and Dorothy (Parks) Sibigtroth. She married William Setchell on July 2, 1944, in Mendota. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Mendota. She is survived by her husband of Mendota; two sons, Randy (Marzita) Setchell of Mendota and Richard (Patti) Setchell of Mendota; one daughter, Marilee (Leo) Smith of LeClaire, Iowa; 11 grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; one brother, Gail Sibigtroth of Sheridan; and one sister, Joann (Tom) Corrigan of Mendota. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Setchell, in December 2000. Memorials may be directed to First United Methodist Church, Mendota Lutheran Home or VITAS.
