Lois E. Slutz, 96, of LaMoille died Thursday July 26, 2018, in Aperion Care, Princeton.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota with the Rev. Michael Slutz officiating. Burial will be in Clarion Lutheran Cemetery, Clarion Township. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of services on Thursday in the funeral home.

Lois was born May 14, 1922, in LaMoille to Albert and Caroline (Lamps) Bauer. She married Donald Slutz on Aug. 1, 1943.

She was a lifelong member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Clarion.

She is survived by one son, Tom (Connie) Slutz of LaMoille; one daughter, Barbara (Franklin) Hintzsche of Rochelle; six grandchildren, James Fiste, Brad (Carol) Slutz, Jeanne Henegar, Tracy (Don) Newberry, Tonya (Chris) Flaxington and Julie Young; 11 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Marian Ayers of Yorkville.

She was preceded in death by her husband on Oct. 12, 1995.
