Lois M. Yohn, 89, of Mendota died Oct. 26, 2009, in Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Mendota. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota, with the Rev. Bill Ultch officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation is one hour prior to services Saturday in the funeral home. She was born Aug. 3, 1920, to Wayne and Ruth (Barker) Pierce. She married Ivan Politsch on Nov. 15, 1938. He died in 1978. She later married Kenneth Yohn on Mary 24, 1983; he died in October 1995. She was a member of Elks Lodge 1212 and previously attended Union Church in Sublette. She is survived by one son, Terry (Mary) Politsch of Sublette; two stepsons, Jack Yohn of McNabb and Jim (Nancy) Yohn of Atlanta, Ga.; one stepdaughter, Cheryl (Jeff) Thomas of Rockford; five grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren; 13 stepgrandchildren; 13 stepgreat-grandchildren; and one sister, Arlene (Delphan) Schlesinger of Sublette; and one daughterin- law, Marie Politsch of Arizona. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by one son, Gary; one brother and one sister. Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
