Lolla Faye Schultz, 82, of Compton passed away
surrounded by loving family and friends March 18,
2013, after a long illness.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in
Compton United Methodist Church with the Rev.
Ken Foster officiating. Burial will be at a later date
at Melugin Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Merritt Funeral
Home, Mendota.
She was born June 9, 1930, in Compton to
Bealey and Irene (Ikens) Cox. She married Ralph
Schultz on Oct. 26, 1951.
She was a homemaker, the world's best pie
baker and worked at Woodhaven Lakes for nine
years. She was a lifelong member of Compton
United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph; children,
Mike (Sue) Schultz of Mendota, Cheryl (Steve)
Argubright of Northridge, Calif., Keith (Carol)
Schultz of Littleton, Colo., and Kevin (Deb) Schultz
of Sublette; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren;
one brother, Allen Cox of Pocahontas, Ark.;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters
Jeanette Brown, Irma Mocklin, Rita Townsend, and
one grandson, Michael Schultz.

Hospice or Compton United Methodist Church.
