Obituary
Louis Richard, 75, of Mendota died Aug. 19, 2014, in Fairview Nursing Plaza, Rockford.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Restland Cemetery, Mendota with the Rev. Michael Morrell officiating.
There will be no visitation. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota assisted with arrangements.
He was born April 6, 1939, in Mendota to Walter and Hazel (Swope) Richard.
He was a graduate of Mendota High School and employed for a number of years by Prescott Bros. in Mendota as a mechanic.
He is survived by an uncle and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
