Louise Ann Edwards, 88, formerly of Mendota passed away on Wednesday October 10 ^th in the early morning at Palos Verdes Senior Living, Peoria, AZ.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 20th at 12:00 p.m., at Restland Cemetery with Rev. Susan Presley officiating. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota is handling arrangements.

Louise was born April 7, 1930 in Creston, IA. to Norman and Rosa (Cady) Magnusson. She had a twin sister, Marguerite and younger brother Robert Magnusson. Louise moved to Mendota in 1943 and completed high school the spring of 1948. She married the love of her life, James Edwards the day after Christmas that year December 26, 1948 at First Presbyterian Church, Mendota. She gave birth to her own set of twins, Jan and Jim in 1949. She gave life to two additional children Julie and John after the twins. Louise invested her time in raising her four children and moving numerous times supporting her husband's career. Her life was full with friends, active with PEO, church and volunteering in community service. Louise had a significant imprint on each of the family members with a sunny disposition.   She was known to tell each of us this is the day the Lord has made, be glad and rejoice in it. Louise is dearly loved by her four children, their spouses and grandchildren. She is together with her husband of sixty nine years again and her Lord Jesus Christ.
