Louise K. Scott, 61, of Mendota died March 19, 2011, in her residence. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota, with the Rev. John Kalebaugh officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. She was born Jan. 29, 1950, in Amboy to Orville and Grace (Ringenberg) Kalebaugh. She married Richard Scott on Nov. 1, 1969, in Vista, Calif. She graduated from Mendota High School in 1968 and attended Illinois Valley Community College. She previously was employed by Motor Wheel Corp. in Mendota and most recently by Horizon House in Mendota. She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Melissa Mumm of Mendota; two sons, Matthew (Patti) Scott of Decatur and Richard (Daneille) Scott Jr. of Mendota; four grandchildren, Morgan, Brett and Abby Mumm and Ayden Scott; two brothers, the Rev. John (Glenda) Kalebaugh of Eldena and Ron (Amy) Kalebaugh of Eldena; and two sisters, Pam (Jim) Ortgiesen of Dixon and Terry (Joe) Lucas of Eldena. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Patricia Manning and one son-in- law, Scott Mumm. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.
