Lucille F. Ladenburger, 90, of Mendota died Feb. 6, 2010, in Mendota Community Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. John's Lutheran Church , Mendota, with the Rev. Dale Peterson officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Thursday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. She was born March 15, 1919, in Lee County to John and Mary (Delhotal) Bodmer. She married Raymond Ladenburger on Jan. 14, 1939, in Clinton, Iowa. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She was employed by Classon's Foods in Mendota for 14 years in the produce department. She was later employed in the housekeeping department at Mendota Community Hospital for more than 20 years. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Ken (Lori) Ladenburger of Mendota and Larry (Carolyn) Ladenburger of Allegan, Mich.; one daughter, Linda (Ron) Landes of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four grandchildren; eight grandchildren; and one sister, Elizabeth Reinhold of South Carolina. She was preceded in death by an infant son, five brothers and two sisters. Memorials may be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church in Mendota or Mendota Lutheran Home.
