Lyndsey Michelle De Lao, 39, of Mendota passed away tragically on Sunday May 29, 2022 in Mercer, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be Monday, June 6, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Community United Methodist Church in LaMoille, Illinois. A brief visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. will precede the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 in the church as well. Rev. David Jungnickel will officiate. Cremation rites will follow the funeral and a public graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mendota. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota is assisting the family.
Lyndsey is survived by her husband, Jose De Lao; two daughters, Kya Grace De Lao, and Aliya Brielle De Lao; one son, Kannon Jose De Lao; one sister Kelly (Evan) Donahue, her mother Karen (Flanagan) Cater and her maternal grandparents Dan and Barbara Flanagan.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Isabell De Lao, her father, Timothy Pakenham, cousin Taryn Pakenham and paternal grandparents Daniel and Lillian (Krizel) Pakenham.
Lyndsey was born in Mendota on May 5, 1983 to Karen (Flanagan) and Timothy Pakenham. She grew up in the Mendota area and graduated from Mendota High School in 2001. She also earned her Bachelor's in Science of Nursing at IVCC in 2009. Lyndsey began working for AT&T in 2015 as a Sales Associate. She was recently promoted up one level in her current role for her outstanding performance and commitment to her career and became a Level 2-3 Client Solutions Executive for AT&T Business in their Retail Channel. Lyndsey received many awards and acknowledgements in her career with AT&T. She was a two time AT&T Business Summit Award winner of which she was extremely proud of. Lyndsey had many hobbies which included working out, softball, Jeep rides, camping, and spending quality time with her husband and children. She loved life and lived it to its fullest and will be dearly missed by anyone that had the opportunity to meet her.
