Lynette Purvis, 40, of Peoria died Jan. 15, 2011, in St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in First Lutheran Church, Ohio, Ill., with pastor Gene Vincent officiating. Burial will be at Van Orin Repose Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Arrangements were provided by Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. Lynette was born Feb. 13, 1970, in Dixon to Roger and Linda (Molln) Purvis. Lynette graduated from LaMoille High School in 1988. She lived in Polo, Sterling and Peoria. Lynette was a member of First Lutheran Church of Ohio. Lynette is survived by her mother, Linda Purvis of LaMoille; one brother, Troy (Kim) Purvis of Prophetstown; two nieces, Madison and Olivia Purvis and one nephew, Ross Purvis, all of Prophetstown; maternal grandmother, Ruth Molln of Ohio; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Roger Purvis; her paternal grandparents, Clarence and Beulah Purvis; and her maternal grandfather, Elwood Molln.
