Marcella Brumley, 83, of Peru and formerly of Mendota, died June 21, 2008, in Manor Court, Peru. Services will be at noon Wednesday in Holy Cross Church, Mendota, with the Rev. Fredi Gomez Torres officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Sublette. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Tuesday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. She was born Nov. 26, 1924, in Sublette to Leo and Marie Full. She was a member of Holy Cross Church, Mendota. She is survived by one son, Sherman (Julie) Brumley of Peru; one daughter, Peggy Barajas of La Salle; two grandchildren; one brother, Richard (Sue) Full of Sublette; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by twins in infancy, one granddaughter, four brothers and four sisters. Memorials may be directed to Mendota Community Hospital.
