Obituary
Marcia J. Baker, 74, of Mendota, passed away unexpectedly March 21, 2021 at OSF St. Paul Medical Center, Mendota.
There will be no services. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota is assisting the family.
Marcia was born November 27, 1946 in Chicago to Herman and Ida Weinberg. She married Jospeh Baker October 31, 1991 in Ottawa.
Marcia worked for Sullivan's Foods in Mendota for over 5 years. She loved attending to her flower garden and she loved her cockatiel George and her Yorkie Macksy.
She is survived by her her husband Joseph of Mendota; two sons Dean (Angie) Bailey of Lenoir City, Tennessee and Brian Ziblut of Streator; daughter Rebecca Dickerson of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; two step sons Eric (Nichole) Baker of Peru and Kyle (Krystal) Hanson of Oglesby; step daughter Crystal (Lee) Simmons of Spring Valley; brother Edward Kahn of Mundelein, Wisconsin and 12 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Herman Weinberg and her mother Ida Kahn, a brother and her granddaughter Jannai Dickerson.
