Margaret "Peggy" Marshall, 61, of LaMoille
died June 3, 2013, in her residence.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Sts.
Peter and Paul Church, Peterstown with the Rev.
Fredi Gomez Torres officiating. Cremation rites
have been accorded.
There will be no visitation. Arrangements were
provided by Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota.
She was born July 21, 1951, in South San
Francisco, Calif., to Robert and Marie (Hohenstein)
Marshall.
She was a graduate of Algonquin High School
and received her registered nurse degree from
Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's, Chicago in 1991.
She was employed for a number of years by
Rockford Memorial Hospital in their neo-natal
unit. In the past year she was employed by Illinois
Valley Hospice.
She was avid about sewing and loved making
quilts for family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters, Beth (Erik)
Bodmer of West Brooklyn and Robin (Michael)
Dean of Ottawa; two sons, Christian (JoAnna)
Engels of Mendota and Eric (Sara) Engels of
Tonica; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Bruce
(Arlene) Marshall of Eugene, Ore.; and two sisters,
Jean Salerno of Selma, N.C. and Marion (Steven)
Aspden of Winston-Salem, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be directed to the family for a
memorial to be established.
